In today’s world, truth is choked upon, and the reality that can only be found in JESUS is ridiculed, and time proven principles of GOD are denigrated as ignorant and backward. We are living in the days that Paul described as perilous (dangerous times) when the man of sin will be revealed, and a great falling away of Christians would occur. We are seeing the falling away happening before our eyes, as those claiming Christianity are embracing homosexuality and other deviant lifestyles as acceptable, and Islam is being incorporated into a new emerging religion known as Chrislam….
This world must be warned, GOD IS NOT MOCKED!!!! whatsoever man sows, therefore shall he also reap! Our world, our nation, our states, our cities, our towns are sowing to the wind, and they will reap the whirlwind!
The time for us to be ever more vigilant is NOW! Be on gaurd against these onslaughts of the wicked one! Here is how he will fight against you! Look at the ways he has used these methods against the church world and is causing a great falling away!
Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil, and satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Many times the enemy of our souls will come against you, to cause you to stumble, and fall away from the truth of the GOSPEL. If we are aware of the wiles and tactics of the enemy, we will be better able to defeat him….
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
In Revelation there is a truth revealed about the fallen natures of Lucifer. When he chose to rebel against GOD, his nature became corrupted and twisted; no longer the creature of praise that he was created to be. In his fallen state, his fourfold twisted nature of darkness rises to fight against the LIGHT…
- satan (opposer) in the Hebrew this nature means to oppose and he is always opposing GOD and the works of LIGHT. he will oppose any truth or light that you have in your life!
STAND FIRM in the truth of JESUS and do not let the opposer steal the TRUTH!
- serpent (sly, stealthy) this nature he used in the garden to change or twist the TRUTH OF GOD into a lie. GOD’S WORD said in Gen 2:17 “thou shalt surely die” and the serpents words were in Gen 3:4 “thou shalt not surely die”. He will attempt to make GOD’S judgements to appear as harmless, and GOD’S rewards seem so small and paltry….with this nature he will twist the truth.
- devil (devourer) this nature he uses to attack and devour the WORD out of our lives. As a hungry, beastly lion he will devour the truth from you as soon as you hear it, before it can take root in your heart downward, and bring forth fruit upward. Be on guard when you are hearing the WORD preached, when you are reading the WORD, and when you spend time in prayer and meditation on the LORD. The devourer will attempt to cause you to forget what you have heard and feasted upon.
- dragon ( root word in Hebrew meaning to elongate) Interestingly, this dragon nature is noted in Revelation where the warning comes to those who add to or take from the scriptures, the plagues will be added to those who add to or elongate the scriptures, and those who take from the scriptures will have their names removed from the Lamb’s book of Life! (Rev. 22:18-19) Lucifer uses this nature of his to elongate the truth….add to or take away from until all we are left with is impotent words that have been stripped of the power of TRUTH!
Many times the enemy of our souls comes against the Truth in our lives like a dragon. And with the warring dragon nature, he will fight against the truth with the fiery darts from the dragons mouth! The most effective defensive armour we have against the fiery darts of the enemy is the shield of faith!! It tells us in Ephesians to use it ABOVE ALL else!
Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And the most effective offensive weapons we have against the onslaught of the enemy’s natures is the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT which is THE WORD OF GOD!
Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
The final piece of the armor of the Christian is never mentioned. It is listed in verse eighteen and is usually overlooked. All of the other pieces of armor lose their ability in spiritual warfare without this final step! Prayer is the final part that holds it all together! And not just a prayer of thanksgiving over a meal, or an occasional Sunday morning prayer to be refreshed and renewed, but a continual “always” petitioning the Lord Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, and the Bishop of our souls for His power and strength to be an overcomer in the daily battle! Along with prayer, keep the watchful eyes of faith to the skies, looking and watching for his appearing!
Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
KNOW the GOOD SHEPHERDS voice! Read HIS words to find HIS ways, HIS thoughts, HIS desires for you. And when the enemy comes against you with untruths…you will know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall make you FREE!

The revelation of the 4-fold nature of Lucifer, our deceiving enemy, was an eye-opening reminder of his insidious plans to destroy Christ’s church & eternal role or rulership! Especially his serpentine nature of deception…their is so much of that in this Laodecian age!
